week3 research and articulation

My topic : Language can determine human thought.
What I hope to learn form this source : I want to find facts that can support my topic. I also want to find accurate reasons to persuade other people. I will research about how language and human mind is related, and how language affect to human mind.
note:
1.Language is a communication tool, so it  helps communicators pass information from one generation to another, thus enriching cultural heritage, which, in turn, further develops language and the user's understanding of the world (world schema).

2. language can multiply and generate an endless number of meanings despite its limited rules. This property is called infinite generativity.

3. Not only is language a tool to create new ideas, it also helps us assign names to these ideas, thereby we can memorize and embody ideas more flexibly.

4. less vocabulary can cause less understanding and knowledge. If one country's language is developed in one feild because of envirnment, or culture, other countries people may not understand that word, because it does not exist in their countries. This also implicate that language can help to create and spread culture.

Final thought : I could realize that language is playing important role in thinking and I also could know that it is related to our memories. The topic is difficult but I thought that it is interesting. I need more information to support my topic. I also thought that I have to tell whether information is true or not.

1. My argument
I want to write about  importance of language. Language's effect is too big, so it can affect to our mind, thought, and brain. More broadly, it can determine our thought, so it can influence in our society, family, and community, because it helps us to communicate and share information. Language can also prove that we are thinking.
2. How I found my argument.
Learning about human mind in English class, I thought that humans take their ability for grant. However using language is a special faculty that only human can have. So I wanted to know about language more and think about if there had been no language, what would happen.
3. New research question.
if there had been no language, what would happen?
What made language occur?
Who made language first and how language spread?
why people should depend on language?
Is language an adaptation and why?
How we can say abstract things with language?
How the language affect to society?

4. Connection to the Harvard Sampler.
Using language is a special faculty that only human can do. It shows how humans are different form animals and robots , and how humans are great. Also language is related to human mind closely because language is the best tool that can express our thinking.
